BIG Congratulations to those players that will be representing Matrics, South Australia and Australia on the National and International Stage in 2008.

Natalie Medhurst has once again been selected in the Open National Australian Squad for 2008.

Natalie Medhust, Kristen Hughes, Alex Clark (nee Hodge) and Sheree Wingard have been selected as part of the Adelaide Thunderbirds squad for the new national ANZ championship for 2008.

The following players have been selected to compete for SA in the National Championships held in Perth from the 1st to 9th April 2008:

21 & Under SA State Team Representatives

 Beth Shimmin (Matrics)

 Sheree Wingard (Matrics)

19 & Under

 Hollie Buick

 Jaki Fuss

 Miriam Buxton (Reserve)

17 & Under State Team

 Kaylene Hill

 Tamsin Petzer

Kaylene and Tamsin have also been selected in the SASI squad for 2008. This squad who trains under Marg Angove compete in the State League Subway Cup.

It is great to see so many of our young Matrics players performing at such a high level. This can only mean a bright future for Bluewater Matrics. Congratulations girls and good luck!
