WHAT IS THE JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT

OBJECTIVES

Improve the skills and interest in netball in that age group and across all levels.

Encourage players to stay long term at our Club.

Show commitment to the players to improve their skills and in turn the players should reciprocate by their commitment to Matrics.

Foster social benefits and encourage good sporting behaviour.

COACH

Implement programmes which are designed to improve player skills in a positive environment. Promote fair play within a supportive team environment.

SELECTORS AT TRIALS

Selectors must be available for all trials.

Preferred Development Level Coaching Accreditation along with experienced players. Selectors must advise JDC immediately if there is a conflict of interest to ensure Matrics Netball Club offers a fair and unbiased selection process.

TRIALS

Trials will be held at the discretion of the coach and JDC.

There shall be consultation with SJ1 and J1 Coaches regarding selections prior to announcement of successful participants.
